Frequently asked questions

Is Play Bingo Caller free?

Yes, completely. There are no accounts, subscriptions or downloads. Ads on content pages keep the site running; they never appear while you are calling or playing.

Are the numbers really random?

Yes. Each game shuffles all the balls using your device's or our server's cryptographic random number generator, the same kind used for security. Nobody, including the host, can predict the next ball.

Why can't I hear the numbers?

Spoken calls use your browser's built-in text-to-speech. Make sure your device isn't muted and that 'Read numbers out loud' is on in Voice & settings. On iPhone, the ring/silent switch can mute web audio. Chrome, Edge and Safari have the best voices.

How do players join a live game?

They scan the QR code on the host's screen, or type the 4-letter code on playbingocaller.com. Each player gets their own cards.

What happens when someone calls BINGO?

The game checks their cards against every called number. A real win pauses the game and shows the winning card on the host's screen. A false call is shown to the host and play carries on.

Can two people win at the same time?

Yes. If several players complete the pattern on the same ball, they can all claim before the host moves on, and they are listed as joint winners.

Can players join after the game has started?

Yes. Late players get fresh cards and play from the next ball.

What if a player refreshes or loses connection?

They are reconnected automatically to the same cards. Their place is saved in their browser.

Can I mark the cards myself instead of auto-marking?

Yes. The host can turn off auto-mark when creating the game or in the lobby. Players then tap numbers to mark them, like daubing a paper card.

Is this gambling?

No. Play Bingo Caller is a free tool for social bingo and doesn't handle money. If you play for prizes, check your local rules.
